DEar everybody
I am a 20th years old girl from Indonesia and I really confuse because I have to pay tuition before 26 MArch 2009. I was graduated from senior high school at 2007 but the school was arrested my graduation certificate. I was the best student at my city when I was at senior high school. Unfortunatelly, I can not get any scholarship to university. There 3 reasons: 1st I was too poor, 2nd I am christian, and 3rd my city government is too poor. I was studied at private school at the time because government school tuition did not pay in advance. actually, the city government ever give me some money as appreciation of my academic achievement but the amount is not enough to pay my school tuition.
After graduated at 2007, I tried to get a job to collecting some money to pay my senior high school tuition and to continue my education to university. I can not get any better job because I do not have any certificate graduation. Then, I was work as a waitress with a very little salary which is only enough for my accommodation. It has been two years after I have graduate. I still have a dream to continue my school. I was looking some scholarship. There is much scholarship out there but at my country the scholarship is usually based from religion community and it was hard for me because I am a Christian. Beside that, scholarship usually gives for government officer family.
I was tried to find all ways to get scholarship and get my graduation certificate. The monetary crisis come and anything getting worse here. I assure that I was a good student. This years (2009) is so meaningful for me, it is the last year of my chance to join government university admission test (March 2009). I know that government university give a free tuition for student with GPA more than 3.5. I know and I assure that I can get it. But it means that I have to pay tuition bills at senior high school and also my first tuition and application fee. The amount is too big for me. It is close to 2000US$. What can I do now? Just hope. one weeks a go I found an announcement from Korea Government about they International scholar. It was full scholarship. I was very egible for the requirement. But how can I apply it? I even do not have senior high school certificate. asking money to my mother is very impossible because my father was on the theraphy of parkinson (neurology disease). beside that, I just know that she doesn't have money and I know that she really wants me to get university education to change our life.
I do not mean to get cadging to somebody I never meet before. But I do not know what I can do anymore. I know that every person also have they own problem. I ever post a letter to digitalcharity.com and I get that the peoples who contact me are not mean to help me actually.
